Texas High School Softball - Amarillo bounces Palo Duro

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX), observed Amarillo's softball team prevail over Palo Duro by a tally of 16-0.

The Sandies (17-6) will now prepare for their bout against Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 4-11 record. In their last bout, Coronado was routed by Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), 8-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Dons clash with the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Palo Duro will attempt to advance on its 2-16 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 13-1 league win over Amarillo (Amarillo, TX).
