Texas High School Softball - Americas bounces Horizon

The Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) softball routed the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 17-2 in Friday's league outing.

The Trail Blazers now sport a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkland for a 5A Region I District 2 outing on Saturday, March 29. Americas will encounter a Matadors team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 13-11.

With the loss, Horizon moves to 6-15 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Bel Air (El Paso, TX) to encounter the Highlanders in a 5A Region I District 2 outing on Saturday, March 29. The Highlanders come into the outing with a record of 4-20. Bel Air lost 17-2 in their recent league outing against Americas (El Paso, TX)
