The Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) softball nipped the visiting Monahans Loboes (Monahans, TX), 2-1 in Friday's league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenwood for a 4A Region I District 3 outing on Monday, March 31. Andrews will encounter a Rangers team coming off a 9-4 league win over Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 12-12.

With the loss, Monahans moves to 13-6 on the season. The Loboes host Pecos (Pecos, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 3 outing on Monday, March 31. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 9-16. Pecos lost 5-4 in their recent league outing against Seminole (Seminole, TX)
