Texas High School Softball - Iowa Colony knocked off by Angleton

March 28, 2025: Iowa Colony, TX 77583

In Friday's league test, the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Iowa Colony Pioneers (Iowa Colony, TX), by a tally of 15-1.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 test, on Tuesday, April 1. Angleton will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 12-10 record after their 15-2 league win over Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX).

The Pioneers (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Ball (Galveston, TX). The Tornadoes go into the 5A Region III District 20 test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Ball was routed by Texas City (Texas City, TX), 4-2, in a league test.
