Texas High School Softball - Beckville bounces Elysian Fields

March 28, 2025: Elysian Fields, TX 75642

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Beckville Bearcats (Beckville, TX) and the host Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX), observed Beckville's softball team prevail over Elysian Fields by a tally of 18-0.

The Bearcats (16-7) will now prepare for their bout against Carlisle (Price, TX). The Indians go into the 2A Region III District 19 bout with a 0-19 record. In their last bout, Carlisle was routed by Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 21-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Waskom Wildcats (Waskom, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Elysian Fields will attempt to advance on its 2-19 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 11-0 league loss to Overton (Overton, TX).
