The Belton-Honea Path Bears the host Dorman Cavaliers softball team by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league match.
The Bears (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Green Wave go into the non-league match with a 10-0 record. In their last match, Summerville tipped Cane Bay (Summerville, SC), 10-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 match, on Tuesday, April 1. Dorman will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 1-9 record after their 13-1 league loss to Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC).
