The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Boswell Pioneers (Fort Worth, TX) and the host Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX), observed Boswell's softball team get by Mansfield by a tally of 12-5.

The Pioneers (10-5) will now prepare for their bout against Crowley (Crowley, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region I District 3 bout with a 5-12 record. In their last bout, Crowley was routed by Weatherford (Weatherford, TX), 17-6, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) in a bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Mansfield will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 6-2 league win over Boswell (Fort Worth, TX).
