Kentucky High School Softball - George Rogers Clark edges Bourbon County

In Friday's league match, the visiting George Rogers Clark Cardinals softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Bourbon County Colonels.

The Cardinals (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Titans come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Collins nipped Whitefield Academy (Louisville, KY), 12-7, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Colonels confront the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) in a District 40 match, on Wednesday, April 2. Bourbon County will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 5-1 record after their 13-0 league win over Bourbon County (Paris, KY).
