The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) and the visiting Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX), observed Whitesboro's softball team notch a victory over Boyd by a tally of 10-0.

The Bearcats (14-6) will now prepare for their bout against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 bout with a 2-10 record. In their last bout, Callisburg was routed by Paradise (Paradise, TX), 18-0, in a league bout.

Boyd will attempt to advance on its 19-4 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX).
