North Carolina High School Softball - Midway bounces Clinton

March 28, 2025: Clinton, NC 28328

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) and the host Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), observed Midway's softball team prevail over Clinton by a tally of 14-0.

The Raiders (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes go into the Southeastern Athletic 2A bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Fairmont knocked off Red Springs (Red Springs, NC), 16-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Dark Horses clash with the West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) in a Southeastern Athletic 2A bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Clinton will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 12-10 league win over St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).
