The Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks to 0 in the Swampcats non-league win on Friday.
The Swampcats now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Paul II for a SCISA AAAA Region III battle on Tuesday, April 1. Laurence Manning Academy will confront a Golden Warrriors team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC). The Golden Warrriors record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Colleton Prep Academy moves to 2-9 on the season. The War hawks host St. John's Christian Academy (Moncks Corner, SC) to confront the Cavaliers in a SCISA AAA Region IV battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a record of 0-1.
