Texas High School Softball - Whitewright bounces Collinsville

March 28, 2025: Collinsville, TX 76233

The Whitewright Tigers softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Collinsville Pirates to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Whitewright improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Tigers host Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX) to play the Tomcats in a 2A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, April 1. The Tomcats enter the game with a record of 2-10. Tom Bean lost 12-11 in their recent league game against Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX)

The Pirates now hold a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Tioga for a game on Monday, March 31. Collinsville will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Ector (Ector, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.
