The Detroit Eagles (Detroit, TX) softball routed the host Harts Bluff Bulldogs (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 13-5 in Friday's league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rivercrest for a 2A Region III District 18 outing on Tuesday, April 1. Detroit will encounter a Rebels team coming off a 9-3 league win over Bowie (Simms, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Harts Bluff moves to 2-9 on the season. The Bulldogs host Pewitt (Omaha, TX) to meet the Brahmas in a 2A Region III District 18 challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Brahmas enter the challenge with a record of 5-9. Pewitt lost 13-2 in their recent league challenge against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX)
