Texas High School Softball - Eastland knocked off by Peaster

March 28, 2025: Eastland, TX 76448

In Friday's league test, the Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Eastland Mavericks (Eastland, TX), by a count of 15-4.

Next, the Greyhounds meet the Early Longhorns (Early, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 test, on Tuesday, April 1. Peaster will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 13-6 record after their 9-2 league win over Millsap (Millsap, TX).

The Mavericks (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Indians go into the 3A Region I District 8 test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Comanche toppled Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX), 24-7, in a league test.
