Texas High School Softball - Flatonia bested by Shiner

The Shiner Comanches triumphed over the visiting Flatonia Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Comanches meet the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats (Bloomington, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Shiner will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record. The Bobcats/Lady Cats enter the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 19-0 league loss to Ganado (Ganado, TX).

The Bulldogs (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Moulton (Moulton, TX). The Bobkatz enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Moulton overcame Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX), 22-4, in a non-league challenge.
