Kentucky High School Softball - Franklin County held off by Madison Central

March 28, 2025: Richmond, KY 40475

The Madison Central Indians got by the visiting Franklin County Flyers softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.

With the triumph, Madison Central upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY) to play the Broncos in a non-league game on Monday, March 31. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 6-4. Frederick Douglass won 9-3 in their recent non-league game against Pulaski County (Somerset, KY)

The Flyers now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Marion County for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 1. Franklin County will play a Knights squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Knights record now stands at 6-1.
