California High School Softball - Franklin Sheldon

Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA), 4-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Sheldon improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Huskies travel to Vanden (Fairfield, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, March 31. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 6-4. Vanden won 12-0 in their recent non-league game against Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR)

The Wildcats now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Elk Grove for a Delta League game on Wednesday, April 2. Franklin will play a Thundering Herd squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 7-6.
