Texas High School Softball - Wortham succumbs to Frankston

In Friday's league test, the Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX), by a tally of 14-4.

Next, the Indians meet the Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX) in a 1A Region III District 20 test, on Tuesday, April 1. Frankston will attempt to advance on its 11-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 4-9 record after their 11-0 league loss to Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX).

The Bulldogs (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Kerens (Kerens, TX). The Bobcats go into the 1A Region III District 20 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Kerens prevailed over LaPoynor (LaRue, TX), 6-2, in a league test.
