Next, the Owls meet the West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Odem will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 13-3 league loss to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX).

The Longhorns (4-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Pirates go into the 3A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Mathis held off Taft (Taft, TX), 4-2, in a league challenge.
