The Southeast Guilford Falcons overwhelmed the visiting Grimsley Whirlies softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Southeast Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Nighthawks go into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 15-0 league win over Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC).

The Whirlies (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings go into the Metro 4A challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Northwest Guilford toppled Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 16-0, in a league challenge.
