In Friday's league match, the visiting James F. Byrnes Rebels softball team scored a nice 20-1 win over the Spartanburg Vikings.
The Rebels (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC). The Bulldogs come into the AAAAA Region 2 match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Boiling Springs was routed by Riverside (Greer, SC), 13-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the Riverside Warriors (Greer, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 match, on Tuesday, April 1. Spartanburg will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 4-4 record after their 13-4 league win over Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC).
