Kentucky High School Softball - Mason County bounces Nicholas County

March 28, 2025: Carlisle, KY 40311

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) and the host Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), observed Mason County's softball team notch a victory over Nicholas County by a tally of 10-0.

The Royals (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against York (Elmhurst, IL). The Dukes go into the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, York gained a win over Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL), 9-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bluejackets battle the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Nicholas County will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY).
