The Nimitz Vikings softball squad (Irving, TX), was routed 16-5 in Friday's league contest with the host Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX)

With the triumph, Richardson improves its record to 10-13 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Wednesday, April 9. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 3-6.

The Vikings now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Berkner for a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, April 1. Nimitz will face a Rams squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Rams record now stands at 4-17.
