The Verona Wildcats softball squad (Verona, MO), was routed 21-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Pierce City Eagles (Pierce City, MO)
With the triumph, Pierce City improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sarcoxie (Sarcoxie, MO) to face the Bears in a Class 2 District 6 contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Bears enter the contest with a record of 2-3.
