The Thrasher Rebels softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Shannon Red Raiders to 6 in the Rebels non-league win on Friday.

The Rebels now possess a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potts Camp for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. Thrasher will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 11-0 league win over Strayhorn (Sarah, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Shannon moves to 4-13 on the season. The Red raiders travel to Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS) to confront the Indians in a 4A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 17-3. Itawamba Agricultural won 6-4 in their recent non-league battle against Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS)
