The Melba Mustangs routed the host Ontario Tigers baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Marsing for a 3A Western Idaho test on Tuesday, March 31. Melba will play a Huskies team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Fruitland (Fruitland, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Ontario drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Nyssa (Nyssa, OR) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 31. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a record of 0-4. Nyssa lost 16-1 in their recent non-league outing against New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID)
