In Saturday's non-league test, the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY), by a count of 16-0.

The Panthers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton County for a District 16 outing on Saturday, March 28. Cumberland County will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to North Laurel (London, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Monroe County moves to 3-4 on the season. The Falcons host Caverna (Horse Cave, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 31. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 5-3. Caverna lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY)
