In Saturday's non-league test, the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Weston Wolves (Jonesboro, LA), by a tally of 13-2.

Next, the Pirates meet the Oak Grove Tigers (Oak Grove, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 28. Hicks will attempt to advance on its 14-1 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 20-0 league win over Rayville (Rayville, LA).

The Wolves (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Neville (Monroe, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-13 record. In their last outing, Neville was routed by Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA), 6-4, in a league outing.
