Ohio High School Softball - McKinley drops to Malvern

Malvern Hornets (Malvern, OH) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the host McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH), 21-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Malvern improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Hornets host United (Hanoverton, OH) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 31. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-2. United won 23-0 in their recent league game against East Palestine (East Palestine, OH)

The Trojans now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Jackson-Milton for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet game on Monday, March 30. McKinley will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 11-0 league win over Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-1.
