The Gig Harbor Tides baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Peninsula Seahawks to 1 in the Tides non-league victory on Monday.
The Tides (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Curtis (University Place, WA). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Seahawks (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Bellarmine Prep was overwhelmed by South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA), 16-0, in a league match.
