The Columbia Wildcats softball team scored 24 runs and limited the host McComb Tigers to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Columbia moves its record to 12-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Tylertown (Tylertown, MS) to play the Chiefs in a 3A Region 8 game on Thursday, April 1. The Chiefs come into the game with a record of 0-3. Tylertown lost 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Enterprise (Brookhaven, MS)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Raymond Rangers (Raymond, MS) in a 4A Region 6 game, on Tuesday, March 30. McComb will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
