In Monday's league contest, the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX), by a margin of 15-5.

With the triumph, Rio Grande City moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Rattlers travel to Palmview (La Joya, TX) to play the Lobos in a 5A Region IV District 30 contest on Thursday, April 1. The Lobos come into the contest with a record of 3-2. Palmview lost 9-8 in their recent league contest against Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX)

In their next game, the Lobos play the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots (Mission, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 contest, on Tuesday, March 30.
