The Herndon Hornets crushed the visiting Wakefield Warriors baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to George C. Marshall for a Liberty bout on Friday, April 1. Herndon will face a Statesmen team coming off a 10-0 league win over Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 3-3.
Next, the Warriors face the Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 11. Wakefield will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
