In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Belleville East Lancers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Edwardsville Tigers.
The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Panthers go into the Southwestern battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, O'Fallon nipped Alton (Alton, IL), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Belleville West (Belleville, IL). The Maroons go into the Southwestern battle with a 2-2 record.
