California High School Softball - Loara holds off Rancho Alamitos

Loara Saxons (Anaheim, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros (Garden Grove, CA), 14-12 in a league challenge.

The Saxons now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bolsa Grande for a challenge on Thursday, March 31. Loara will battle a Matadors squad coming off a 18-10 league win over Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Rancho Alamitos falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Vaqueros travel to Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA) to battle the Lobos in a challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Lobos enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Los Amigos lost 17-13 in their recent league challenge against La Quinta (Westminster, CA)
