In Tuesday's league contest, the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC), by a margin of 21-2.

With the triumph, Purnell Swett moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Rams travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to play the Bears in a contest on Friday, April 1. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 7-0. Gray's Creek won 14-1 in their recent non-league contest against Hoke County (Raeford, NC)

In their next game, the Pirates play the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) in a contest, on Friday, April 1. Lumberton will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
