Milton Panthers (Milton, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Niceville Eagles (Niceville, FL), 12-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Escambia for a challenge on Thursday, March 31. Milton will face a Gators squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to West Florida (Pensacola, FL). The Gators record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Niceville falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Navarre (Navarre, FL) to face the Raiders in a challenge on Friday, April 1. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 12-0. Navarre won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Crestview (Crestview, FL)
