North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Holly Springs held off by Middle Creek

Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC), 13-12 in a league battle.

The Mustangs now own a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Level for a Southwest Wake game on Friday, April 1. Middle Creek will encounter a Gators team coming off a 16-1 league win over Cary (Cary, NC). The Gators record now stands at 8-2.

The Golden Hawks (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Patriots go into the Southwest Wake game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Apex Friendship nipped Green Hope (Cary, NC), 14-6, in a league battle.
