Texas High School Softball - San Angelo Central can't hold off Abilene

The San Angelo Central Bobcats softball team (San Angelo, TX), was tipped 2-1 in Tuesday's league test with the host Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX)

Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 test, on Friday, April 1. Abilene will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Coahoma (Coahoma, TX).

The Bobcats (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region I District 2 test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Frenship edged Midland (Midland, TX), 6-5, in a league test.
