The Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL) softball routed the host Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL), 14-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Valley Cubs (23-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 10-3 record. In their last bout, Cleburne County notched a victory over Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL), 4-3, in a non-league bout.
The Golden Bears now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Munford for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 31. Lincoln will confront a Lions squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Talladega (Talladega, AL). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.
