The Cortez Colts softball team (Phoenix, AZ), was routed 20-1 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ)

Coming up next, the Prospectors clash with the Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 30. Apache Junction will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Padres come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 9-8 league loss to American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ).

The Colts (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Broncos come into the 4A Black Canyon test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Poston Butte overcame Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ), 10-8, in a non-league test.
