The Asheboro Blue Comets softball team (Asheboro, NC), was routed 19-9 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC)
Coming up next, the Black Knights clash with the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A test, on Friday, April 1. North Davidson will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 13-2 league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).
The Blue Comets (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Randleman overcame Trinity (Trinity, NC), 18-0, in a league test.
