The Auburn Tigers nipped the visiting Opelika Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Beulah (Valley, AL). The Bobcats go into the non-league battle with a 26-6 record. In their last battle, Beulah held off Beauregard (Opelika, AL), 10-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Smiths Station for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 31. Opelika will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Prattville (Prattville, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 12-9.
