Texas High School Softball - Snyder gets by Big Spring

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) and the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), witnessed Snyder's softball squad tip Big Spring by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers now sport a 10-14 record. They play next when they travel to Sweetwater for a 4A Region I District 3 match on Friday, April 1. Snyder will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Big Spring moves to 12-6 on the season. The Steers host Levelland (Levelland, TX) to meet the Lobos in a 4A Region I District 3 match on Friday, April 1. The Lobos go into the match with a record of 12-12. Levelland won 16-4 in their recent league match against Lake View (San Angelo, TX)
