The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) and the host Ontario Tigers (Ontario, OR), saw Burns's softball squad nip Ontario by a count of 3-2.

The Hilanders now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baker/Powder Valley for a non-league match on Friday, April 1. Burns will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-2 non-league win over Marsing (Marsing, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Ontario falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Weiser (Weiser, ID) to face the Wolverines in a non-league match on Thursday, March 31. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 5-1. Weiser won 15-0 in their recent league test against McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID)
