California High School Softball - Cabrillo gets by Santa Ynez

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) and the visiting Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA), witnessed Cabrillo's softball squad tip Santa Ynez by a count of 6-5.

The Conquistadores now sport a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Ynez for a Channel match on Friday, April 1. Cabrillo will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Santa Ynez moves to 2-11 on the season. The Pirates host Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA) to meet the Conquistadores in a Channel match on Friday, April 1.
