Texas High School Softball - Calhoun bounces Miller

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) and the host Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX), witnessed Calhoun's softball squad tip Miller by a count of 14-7.

The Sandcrabs now sport a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Rockport-Fulton for a 4A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, April 1. Calhoun will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, Miller moves to 15-10 on the season. The Buccaneers host West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX) to meet the Bears in a 4A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, April 8. The Bears go into the match with a record of 2-11.
