The Mallard Creek Mavericks softball team scored 35 runs and limited the host Chambers Cougars to 0 in the Mavericks league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mallard Creek moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to clash with the Titans in a Queen City 3A/4A game on Wednesday, March 30. The Titans come into the game with a record of 3-6. Hopewell lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Hough (Cornelius, NC)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A game, on Thursday, March 31. Chambers will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
