Chapel Hill Red Devils (Mount Pleasant, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Winona for a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, April 1. Chapel Hill will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Mineola falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX) to battle the Raiders in a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, April 1. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Winnsboro won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX)
