Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huss for a Big South 3A challenge on Wednesday, March 30. Crest will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Forestview falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to South Point (Belmont, NC) to clash with the Red Raiders in a Big South 3A game on Wednesday, March 30. The Red Raiders come into the game with a record of 3-5. South Point won 17-4 in their recent league game against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)
